Poluluka

So there’s this nice lil game called Frontier of Sister Indulgence ~Tale of Lust in Poluluka~

It’s a pretty relaxing and fun game. If you like ecchi spriteworks, then definitely go for it. The story takes place, in well, Poluluka. The main protag Fay gets rescued (or bought by accident) from the Black Market in the city. Fay gets brought back to the village and starts his new life with 3 sisters.

The 3 main heroines are as above. There’s not really a goal in the game, just a really relaxed pace where you go around, building your relationship with the 3 heroines. It’s split into about 3 chapters, the first being for the elder sister Rudou, then middle sister Aira and lastly with the best girl Mana.

There are many things you can do in the game, the first that you get introduced to is farming. This is THE easiest way to get money later on in the game. At first it may start off slow, but trust me, the gold from this gets insane.

The first thing you’ll notice are that there are 3 actions to do. While the pictures don’t tell much, it’s basically Plant, Water and Harvest. You want to plant vegs to match the “recipes” you have. This way, you’ll get a percentage bonus of extra R (the currency in the game).

If you’re not sure what the moon rune names for the vegs are, you can always open up your menu, as in the image before this, and scroll to the Tomato.

Another thing you can do is fish. Arguably a better way to get money (at least in the early portions of the game), you can fish anywhere with a body of water except for a specific place in front of granny’s house. That’s a nature reserve you monster.

It’s a basic minigame where you just play O2Jam and match the keys. Watch out though, sometimes alphabets that pop up. Before you can fish though, you may need to progress in the story a bit and buy some bait from the shop. After fishing and farming, you want to sell them by going to the Blue Arrow next to the farm.

Going most of the way east of the village, there’s a shop where you can buy stuff. Initially, you’ll need to bring Rudou with you to unlock it. Once there, you can buy stuff from the guy in Red there who gets replaced by Heroine (?) #4 later in the game.

The shop sells a bunch of stuff. Where the cursor is hovering over is mostly for story items. At times you may have to come to the shop alone, or with Rudou before it becomes available in the shop.

On its right used to have ore-like things. You can buy those to improve the R you get from planting. And the water jug that appears there lets the vegs grow faster.

The top row has bags of seeds. You plant seeds and get vegetables. That’s how growing crops works, city folks. Later on in the game, Roro here sells THE most expensive sweets. You can buy them from her and exchange it for “special services” from her.

Mmmm sweets

So while you can do those to get money, you can also do other stuff. work2.PNG  work1.PNG

Icons like these are scattered across the map. These “work” icons will generally give you one of crystals, a separate kind of currency. The only exception to this is the one in Rudou’s room. Rudou has to be following you before these will be available. Both of them have you do minigames.

The first is to separate chunks of ore. If it’s bad throw it away with the <- key, and do the opposite if it’s a good one.

The second minigame consists of 2 parts, you can probably find out how to play it on your own. Protip, you can spam the Z key during the last part of the minigame to instantly get an Excellent score. If you get more than 250, you get DOUBLE the crystals you would have initially got (1 * 2 = 2).

You use the crystals to buy stuff from the special shop. This only shows up past 9pm and sells a bunch of useful stuff.

The top few ones give you extra stuff you can do like CONTROL TIME and TELEPORTATION and a HIGH-TECH MODERN GPS. No really, they do. The only one that’s kind of counter-intuitive is the one costing 2 crystals, which is the power to CONTROL THE ATMOSPHERE, causing it to rain the next day. The reason this is counter-intuitive is because you can literally do next to nothing when it rains.

There’s also a picture book for fishes, which you can buy if you hate fishing. Fishing gives you money but when you identify new fishes, you can get crystals by talking to an old man all the way east of the village.

The ones costing 3 crystals are high quality seeds. Generally the cost-efficiency of these aren’t very good unless you have a powerful recipe.

10 gives you a morning wake up call. Bring someone to your bed right before you sleep and they’ll cuck you by not staying with you in bed but instead waking you up at 6am.

Not actually one of the scenes from the wake-up call but it’s still hot

The choices near the bottom lets you have outdoor ecchi with the girl of your choice. These get unlocked over the course of the game. The last one for Mana unlocks the best scene in the game.

HNNGGGHHH MOEEE!!!

Once you buy the goods from that robo guy, you’ll be able to use your newfound powers to change the world.

options.PNG  map.PNG

If you open up the submenu thing with C, in order they let you move to the next hour, teleport home, fish and do stuff with the heroine following you. Either send them home or outdoor ecchi if you have it unlocked.

Using your high-tech GPS system, you can check the map. There’s a bunch of icons there. Obvious ones being Work and where the characters are. The red+blue gender icons are H scenes and the diamond shaped one unlocks more Work actions or recipes. There will also be a grenade(?) time forwarding icon next to your bed from time to time. That just tells you to go to sleep to progress the story.

You may need to be alone or have different heroines or at different times to have these icons show up. And that’s basically it.

Oh yeah, you can also gamble with that pirate dude in the corner and rack up money like crazy.

The characters are lovable and the spritework is pretty good. Roro and Mana in particular look really nice. It’s a small little game with ties to the developer’s past games but you don’t need to have played them to enjoy this one.

“Poluluka” is a ridiculous name though.
